The Year of Restoration
Our theme for 2024 is the “Year of Restoration” where we believe God desires to restore your life and strengthen your faith like never before. When you take a moment to read Job 42:10-17, you’ll see that beyond the obvious livestock & material blessings, there was so much more that God restored to Job. Note that God caused him to thrive in his relationships both with family and friends, he was given the opportunity to experience health and longevity and in reading this passage, we can pick up on the joy, peace and love that Job enjoyed in his latter days. And you know what? We believe that God wants to do some restoring in your life as well! So join us on this journey as we take back (through prayer) what God has intended for us all along!
Fasting in January
In January 2024, starting on the 7th through the 27th, we will fast as a church and stand shoulder to shoulder believing for God’s redemptive and transformative power to be shown in our lives both collectively and individually. During this time, we will make a sacrifice unto God with expectation that He will move in a mighty way!
During this fast, there will be 3 options to choose from based upon your familiarity with fasting and what God is calling you to. Although you are welcome to modify/combine or increase a fast as you feel led, the 3 listed are the most common selected:
1) Not By Sight...
No social media or television
2) Fish & Loaves...
Pescatarian diet - No meat, sweets, caffeine, or drinks (alcohol)
3) Daniel Fast
Fruits, veggies, nuts, whole oats, natural juices & water -No bread, dairy, meat, seafood, caffeine, alcohol or sweets
The Circle-Maker
This Christmas, we wanted to gift you with a book entitled “The Circle Maker” by Pastor Mark Batterson which we believe will cause you to never look at praying the same again. This book will challenge your current level of faith and stretch it far beyond what you could have imagined. By the last chapter, you’ll want to pray circles around every area of your life! Be sure to grab your copy from under the Christmas tree in the Fellowship Hall.
Prayer Call
During the fast, every morning at 6am, you will have the option to call in to our prayer call where you can either listen in or actively participate as we seek God’s will together as a church family.

Prayer Walks
Every Saturday of the fast (on January 13th, 20th and 27th), we will arrive at Cole Street by 9:40am to begin a 2 mile prayer walk at 10:00am (the route will be shared at the beginning our walks). We will allot an hour for the walk and provide you with a prayer list that will fuel your prayer time as we also encourage you to pray over your own personal prayer requests. To help prepare for this time of prayer and fasting, we have provided lines on your program where you can begin to jot any personal prayer requests that come to mind between now and the start of the fast.
